Lavoir des Bournets - Limestone.
Until the mid-20th century, this washhouse was a weekly meeting place, where washerwomen did their laundry while chatting. At the time, it was useful for internal communication within the hamlet and the commune. The spring that feeds it, filtering through the rock and long essential to life in the area, is no longer fit for drinking. The building has recently been restored by the commune of Pineuilh, but is still owned by the inhabitants of Les Bournets.
