Around 1905, sports began to take hold in France. A golf course was set up in Vittel's spa park, along with the first jeu de boules, known as the "Jeu du Cochonnet".
As early as 1922, the Société des Eaux created magnificent playing fields in a boulodrome near the Roseraie, winning the admiration of French, Swiss and Italian boulistes.
Every year in summer, 2 associations keep the Vittel boulodrome alive by organizing pétanque and boules lyonnaise competitions. The boulodrome is freely accessible in the park, for both one-day and long-term enthusiasts!
The boulodrome in the spa park is open to day-trippers, tourists, vacationers and spa-goers who want to play with friends or family.
