The historical center of Gourdon stretches on a hillock whose profile is recognizable from miles around. In the heart of the medieval city, take some height! Here, at 284 m of altitude, an ideal space invites you to relax thanks to the installation of a wooden floor, benches and picnic tables. Enjoy the panoramic view of the roofs of the city and the bucolic valleys and colors of the surrounding countryside.the earthenware orientation table dates from 1934.nicknamed "the esplanade of the castle", this viewpoint is located on a rocky spur on the site of the ancient Castrum built in the 10th century. The castle was razed under Louis XIII, a water tower replaces it!
