Built in 1532, Château de la Brosse is one of the strongholds of La Roche-Posay and Angles-sur-l'Anglin, located in the heart of the Gartempe Valley, at Vicq-sur-Gartempe.
Under creation since 2011, visitors will discover a garden inspired by the early 16th century, combining the rigor of the kitchen garden, the structure of hornbeam hedges with various wildflowers and a natural ecosystem. The kitchen garden, fruit garden and organic herbarium will become permaculture in 2017. You'll discover a wide variety of old-fashioned vegetables and fruit, as the seasons change. Rabbits, geese, ducks and pure-bred hens will remind you of the farmyard of yesteryear. There's also an organic store and a tea room overlooking the garden. Venture into 5 hectares of woodland to discover one of the bird species in this LPO refuge. Workshops on gardening, tasting and decorating for the youngest visitors
