In the heart of the Quercy oaks, I'm renting three small shepherd's cottages, the traditional shelter of the Quercy peasants, in the south of the Lot department, 15 kilometers south of Cahors. Completely round and built of dry stone, these gariottes are equipped with all the comforts of home, including a bed, small kitchen, WC and shower room, as well as a small courtyard where you can eat outside in fine weather, in the shade of oak trees, with the option of a barbecue.
This unusual accommodation is ideal for tourists, pilgrims, nature lovers and anyone else in search of an original place that offers peace and quiet.
