The monumental cross stands at the entrance to the village, at the crossroads of the triviae (three roads), a favored place of worship. The cross features a sculpted Christ figure on the east-facing side. The cross is separated from the chamfered shaft by a knot. It rests on a canted plinth inscribed 'Jean Bonnet 1850', a possible name for the stonemason if other inscriptions on the lintel of the house opposite are anything to go by. This granite ensemble is built on a stone base.
