Domaine nordique du Champ du Feu

The Bruche valley offers the largest Nordic ski area in the Bas-Rhin. The Champ du Feu, at an altitude of 1099 m, is a favorite with cross-country skiers, who find it to be a high-quality natural setting for this outdoor sport. The site is regularly groomed and entirely free of charge.
The Champ du Feu Nordic area comprises 4 sectors: les Myrtilles, la Serva, les Bottelets and la Rothlach. 15 cross-country ski trails. 100 km of free, marked trails (55 km linear) between 885 and 1100 m altitude (70% of trails are above 1000 m altitude). Regularly marked alternating and skating trails: 5 green trails, 4 blue trails, 5 red trails, 2 black trails, 1 biathlon stadium. Free access to 2 toboggan runs, a signposted footpath and a snowshoe trail complete this range of activities. The Mont Champ du Feu hotel has a tubing track (tobogganing on buoys) and a classic toboggan track, both with lifts and for a fee. The ESF is also on hand to help you learn the basics of winter sports.
