Take a successful picnic break in Châteauneuf-sur-Loire on the Herbe Verte promenade.
For your convenience, you will like the parking near the tables (6 tables) as well as the petanque ground and the sports course, for the most dynamic.

After lunch, stroll around the pretty Place du Port and have a coffee on the terrace! Go back and enjoy the walk along the Loire and then take a stroll in the park of the castle. If you are picnicking in the evening, wait until the Pont & Lumières show at nightfall, to admire the bridge which lights up with a thousand colours.
