Jardin éphémère - Boulogne-sur-mer

How can we restore the nobility of Place Godefroy de Bouillon ? The challenge was twofold: on the one hand, to rid this elegant square of its unsightly vehicles , and on the other hand, to make it an attractive place, while respecting the constraints linked to the historical character of the place. This is the challenge that the city of Boulogne-sur-Mer has taken up by creating a surprise around its temporary garden every year.

The first came into being in 2007 with Recpot – Verts Seaux. The beginning of a series of encounters eagerly awaited by the inhabitants and tourists of Boulogne, some of whom even make the trip specifically to discover a green environment that is always original and surprising.

From late June to mid-October, a temporary garden in front of the town hall is unveiled to the public.
