2024 Tour de France in 10 stages, via central to south, with return via eastern Alps

Day 1: Approach via the highway to Laon. From Laon over the Motagne de Reims towards Chablis.
Day 2: From Chablis via Noyers and L'Isle sur Serein to Vézelay. Through the west side of the Morvan over Château-Chinon and Digoin to Le Donjon.
Day 3: From Le Donjon through the Livradois-Forez regional natural park over Ambert to Retournac. Through the gorges of the Haute Loire to Le Puy en Velay.
Day 4: Through the Monts d'Ardèche natural regional park and Cévennes national park over Barre-des-Cévennes, Saint-Jean-du-Gard to Anduze, camping by the Gardon d'Anduze.
Day 5: From Anduze via Dions to the Pont du Gard. Further via Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Beaumes-de-Venise along the 'Dentelles de Montmirail' to Malaucène. Over Mont Ventoux to Sault and over the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Sénanque to Gordes. Further over Ménerbes to Bonnieux in the regional natural park of Luberon.
Day 6: Short tour and rest day by the water. From Bonnieux via the Luberon regional natural park over Rians and Aups to Les Salles sur Verdon by the lac du Sainte-Croix in the Verdon regional natural park.
Day 7: Over Aiguines along the D71 by the gorges du Verdon and over the pont de l'Artuby via Comps-sur-Artuby to Castellane. Further via Saint-Julien-du-Verdon towards Daluis and the gorges de Daluis to Guillaumes.
Via the D28 to the Tinée valley, and via the M2205 over Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée to Jausiers. Westwards via the D900 to Barcelonette.
Day 8: From Barcelonette via Saint-Pol-sur-Ubaye along the D902 over Guillestre and Arvieux over the col de l'Izoard and via Cervières to Briançon in the Écrins national park. Along the D1091 over La Grave via the 'chaîne de Belledonne' and Vizile to Le Pont-de-Claix. Over Saint-Nizier-du-Moucerotte via the Vercors regional natural park and Grenoble across the Isère to the Massif de Chartreuse and over Sarcenas to Saint-Laurent-du-Pont.
Day 9: From Saint-Laurent-du-Pont further through the massif de Chartreuse along the D921 over Yenne between Rhône and Lac du Bourget via Chanaz to Seyssel. Via the D14 to Bellegarde-sur-Valserine and via the D991 over Chézey-Forens through the national nature reserve of the Haute Chaîne du Jura to Mijoux. Over Tancua and Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux to Nozeroy. Over Pont-d'Héry and Salins-les-Bains via Arc-en-Senans to Orchamps on the Doubs.
Day 10: From Orchamps on the Doubs over Pontailler-sur-Saône via Selongy to the Forêts national park.
Via Auberive along the valleys of the Aube and the Ource over Vandeuvre-sur-Barse to the lac d'Orient near Géraudot.
