Two possible starting points, the church of Courteix or the town hall of Couffy-sur-Sarsonne, from which you can join the main loop with a round trip. The region has been marked by the presence of the Templars (presence of Templar graves in the church of Courteix) but also by the lordship of Châteauvert (medieval grave in the church of Couffy). At the Bois des Trois Faulx, the maquis stele, and nearby the sapes (makeshift shelters used as hiding places) of recently reconstituted maquisards, remind us of the commitment of the Resistance fighters. This circuit offers a succession of clear views of the Millevaches Plateau and the Auvergne Mountains, as well as passages through underbrush and crossings of typical villages in Haute-Corrèze.
