Discover the Monédières with this moderately hilly route of 66.5 km. The Monédières massif covers a total area of 60 km2, located in the southwest of the Millevaches plateau.
During your journey, you will surely catch sight of its rounded peaks overlooking the valleys, the highest point being the puy de la Monédière, reaching nearly 919 meters in altitude. Boasting a rich ecosystem with rare fauna and flora, the massif includes a Natura 2000 designated area: the Landes des Monédières.
The starting point of your circuit is in Chamberet, a designated green station.
After a few kilometers, the route leads you to Treignac, a charming medieval town at the foot of the Monédières. This heritage site steeped in history has been awarded the label "small town of character" and offers you a unique visiting experience.
