This loop is the most physical of the three proposed in the Confluence. From the promontory village of Clermont-Dessous, dominated by its fortified church and castle, the circuit descends into the valley of the Masse. On the hill opposite, Bazens was the episcopal court of the bishops of Agen in the 16th century
