Description by the author

With this walk we descend into the gorge of the Saigne river .

A steep descent brings us more than 200 meters lower to the idyllic Plage de la Siagne . Paddling in the ice-cold water is a pleasant refreshment in the heat that can prevail there.

A little further on lies the Pont des Tuves , where the daring jump into the icy water.

The adjacent caves form a refreshing shower, as the water continuously trickles down.

We pass an old ruin of a miller's house.

For the way back we choose the longer but much less steep and smoother paved road.
