Street Art 2024 - XX of the most beautiful graffiti artworks in Boulogne-sur-Mer

(IMPORTANT: the works of 2024 and their descriptions still need to be integrated, but the street route has already been adjusted)
Parking e.g. Q-Park St Louis (easily accessible and in the middle of the artworks).

This walk combines Routes 1 - 4 of the StreetArt Festival 2023 in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Here you will visit 46 of the 51 proposed artworks. The 5 artworks that I did not include were rather a balance regarding the additional H/T distance that needed to be covered. By the way, if you come by car from Wimereux, you will see 2 beautiful works on your left side as you enter Boulogne.
Route 5 is a bit far on foot from the other 4 and can possibly be easier to do by car. But it is certainly worth it.
The artworks are gems of extremely high quality and new artworks are still being added. When we did the walk on August 4, there were still artists working in 2 places.
You can find more information on the website streetart.boulogne-sur-mer.fr, or you can pick up a beautiful free brochure at the Office du Tourisme (30, Rue de la Lampe). This brochure contains the 5 routes as well as sections of all artworks. It is handy to keep this brochure or the online version at hand to follow the numbering of the artworks.

You will see that after the first 6 artworks of Route 3, I briefly deviate into the beautiful walled old town of Boulogne-sur-Mer towards Rue de Lille and surroundings. This area offers an enormous variety of nice cafes, restaurants of all kinds, etc. I can certainly recommend the Cave de Mr. Guy (a cozy café with, among other things, beers from their own brews and snacks) as well as the adjacent restaurant La Grange de Mr. Guy where you can enjoy their delicious dishes among the brewing kettles. Reservations are recommended, but don't worry. The street is full of delightful establishments. This walled old town is worth a visit on its own!
