Four loops to explore the different environments such as the meadow and its hedgerows, the forest, and the waterways of the Gitte. Like the Royal Kite, present in this territory, come admire, from the viewpoint of Harol, the ecological continuities (hedges and waterways for example) representing reservoirs of biodiversity. A sheltered break is possible at two locations along the route as indicated on the map.
1 Take the road ( > caution) that runs alongside the cemetery. At the crossroads, turn left.
2 Leave the path on the right and continue on the road. At the next fork, stay to the right.
3 Turn left onto a path that goes around the Haut du Niaux (411 m) [ > viewpoint], then becomes paved. At Haut Bruet, reach a bend.
4 Take a path on the left, then a road that you follow to the right until a junction, at Rue. Take the right onto rue des Vergers and, about 1.4 km later, reach a fork.
5 Go left onto the white path and reach a crossroads, at the place called Martinval. Take the path on the right. At a bend, go straight ahead. Shortly after, leave a path to Saurupt on the right and, about 900 m later, reach the start of a path on the right, just before a copse.
6 Follow this path that goes into the hedgerow [ > shelter with picnic table] and, after a long journey, opens onto the road.
2 Turn left and return to the starting point.
