Trails at the Crossroads: Circuit 21 - Path of the Heights of Harol

Four loops to explore the different environments such as the meadow and its hedgerows, the forest, and the waterways of the Gitte. Like the Royal Kite, present in this area, come admire, from the viewpoint of Harol, the ecological continuities (hedgerows and waterways, for example) representing reservoirs of biodiversity. A sheltered break is possible at two points along the route as indicated on the map.

1/ Take the road that runs alongside the cemetery.
2/ At the crossroads, turn left for about 120 m and then turn right into a drivable path that extends into a path winding through the hedgerow. At the end, turn right and reach Adoncourt, which you cross via the street called "chemin de ville." On the main road, turn right onto rue de l’École for about 50 m.
3/ Go left up a path and quickly find yourself among the fields. At the end, turn left and pass in front of agricultural sheds.
4/ Turn right into a path that, after two sharp turns, crosses an old railway line; follow it to the right. At Dommartin-aux-Bois, cross the road and find the path slightly offset to the left. In the Bear's Wood, cross a second road by once again doing a "left-right."
5/ Leave the old railway line for a path to the right. Join Longeroye via the station avenue and come out in front of the post office. Take the D 4 to the right, then the D 4D to return to Harol, at the cemetery, turn left to reach the starting point.
