Trail route No. 05 black - tour of Saint-Nabord - TSN

The departure is located at the Perrey stadium, where you follow the Bouzey canal, up to the Huchère pond. You then continue through the town of Remiremont on a paved section. You then reach the Demoiselle pond via a pleasant singletrack, and then extend the course into the forest on wide track sections before connecting to a short paved portion. The trail continues along the Niche stream, via a very enjoyable singletrack with some technical difficulties. You leave the stream to join a rolling path up to the Plaine pond, a great place to take a break! The trail then continues on a path in the heart of the forest with its magnificent trees and the bed of green moss characteristic of the Vosges. A stop at the Arboretum is essential to learn more about the forest and the trees that make it up. The trail continues in the forest with a succession of small bumps and a mix of different surface textures and path widths without particular difficulties. You reach the Tacaumont Ridge, enjoy this superb viewpoint over the Moselle valley and the Fossard Massif. The path continues on a singletrack along the ridge before beginning a rapid descent. You then reach the banks of the Moselle, before returning to the starting point by following the Bouzey canal and then the Etangs de le Prarie du Vouau.

The route is difficult due to its length; you alternate between different types of surfaces with sections of road, forest paths, wide tracks, and singletracks. There are few truly technical passages; the difficulty lies in the distance traveled and the multitude of bumps alternating between small climbs and descents.
