Plateau de la Croisette

A pleasant 10 km hike starting from Cambronne-les-Ribecourt, then traversing several valleys before reaching the Plateau de la Croisette.

The national necropolis, built in 1950, is located on the RN32 close to the route. Created in 1950, it brings together exhumed bodies from the Eure, Oise, Somme and Seine-Maritime departments from the 14-18 and 39-45 wars. The bodies of 126 soldiers who died in 1914-1918 are buried here, along with 2106 graves from the Second World War.

The Montigny war memorial was built by the 86th RI in honor of its comrades who died for France at La Carmoye during the Great War. Indeed, it was through the hamlet of Montigny that the poilus passed on their way to the Carmoye and Attiche fronts. It also served as a place of comfort and a supply point for food and supplies.

Located near the church, the Cambronne-les-Ribécourt war memorial, inaugurated in 1924, is dedicated to the children of the commune who died for France in the First World War.
