Contemporary Architecture Walk: The Grand Lakes of Morvan

This walk is part of a guide proposing to explore the Nièvre in search of its architecture from the 20th and 21st centuries, the result of programs initiated by public project management and subject to architectural competitions.
This route, among the five proposed in the guide titled "The Great Lakes of Morvan," explores, from project to project, the dialogue between landscape, history, and architecture throughout the department.
This selection of facilities reflects the diversity of subjects, stakes, actors, and approaches. The presented projects stand out by their understanding of their context. They are a sign that contemporary architecture is destined to one day become the "heritage" that testifies to an era.
