Pontus Walk

- At the start, you discover the castle where Pontus de Tyard was born in 1521. He was the bishop of CHALON-SUR-SAONE, an astronomer, and one of the seven poets of the Pléiade.

- Cross the village heading south to take the D28 on the left.

- Turn right at the cemetery onto a road leading to the bridge over the former railway line SAINT-GENGOUX-LE-NATIONAL / MONTCHANIN near the hamlet of Champagne.

- Take the path that descends to your right - a wink to the left where the church of SAINT-MARTIN-DU-TARTRE proudly stands at an altitude of 430 m.

- Pass by the old keeper's house and take the left path leading to Maizeray where a small stream and beautiful houses welcome you.

- Cross this hamlet all the way through and take a right near a cross heading towards GERMAGNY.

- Upon reaching the D80, turn right and then left 200 m further onto a path through fields.

- In GERMAGNY, take the main road and then turn right towards the school, pass in front of the community hall, and go up towards the Chaume.

- The view opens up to the left: valley of the Guye, Bois Rougeon, village of SAVIANGES.

- At the end of the climb, turn at a right angle to the right. A path lined with boxwood, dry stone walls, and walnut trees leads back to the starting point.

- Don't leave BISSY-SUR-FLEY without wandering again in this small town and discovering the well-grouped Burgundy houses around the Romanesque church.
