Circuit The Valley of Raddon and its Springs

This eight-kilometer circuit will help you discover all the resources of the Saint-Bresson valley through nine interpretation panels focusing on the themes of geology, water, wood, and farms of yesteryear. After a journey on a small paved road, you will walk along the hillside on each side of the valley to reach a plateau dotted with ponds.

The route begins by following the municipal road that runs along the river "le Raddon" (which gives its name to the town downstream). You must follow this watercourse without crossing it. On your left, 200 meters from the start, is the neo-Gothic chapel of Saint-Brice (the patron saint of the municipality of Saint-Bresson). At the fork, take the left and then the right at the next junction. Then take a right into a shaded path leading up to the Noz du Pin, then the Broche.

At the summit, on the left before the house, you can spot a magnificent redwood. Take the path that descends in front, which leads to a paved road. Cross the road and follow the trail that climbs back up in front. You will walk on an earthen path overlooking the valley.

At the end of the path, you arrive at a paved road which you take to the left downhill to reach the Maires d'Avaux. Cross the bridge, the road, and go up in front on the stony path into the woods towards the farm of Muse.

You arrive at the Grandes Fouillies plateau and walk along a pond. At the next junction, take a left and descend towards Saint-Bresson (pasture part then forest part) passing by the Crèpeloup fountain. Upon reaching the paved road, turn right to join the center of the village.
