The Great Vernée

- Descend the avenue facing the Cheval Blanc inn and take the small road on the left that becomes a path.

- Follow the direction of Boujolle, finding a paved road. The church of MARCILLY-LES-BUXY under the patronage of Saint-Vincent is located very nearby (round trip 400m towards the cemetery).

- Go down the road, leave it at the hamlet of Volvin, turn left to reach the edge of the La Malenne stream and cross it.

- Take the D977 on the left and turn right 100 m further on.

- Turn left at the intersection and then right onto the path leading to Boujolle.

- Follow the road on the left, passing in front of a honey farm (visits possible). Go down the path on the right leading to the edge of the Guye.

- Turn right (you are on the GR 7). At Moulin Rivon, continue straight on the road until you reach the D977 at the Guénins. You are halfway there.

- Follow the path in front, turn left at the crossing to pass in front of the Boisselets buildings.

- At the communal path, turn right. Cross the Malenne again and then reach the Guye 1 km further south.

- Take the road for 600 m, leave it on the left at the intersection along a ruined building.

- Follow the path and road straight ahead for 2.5 km until you reach the D236.

- Turn right, towards SAINT-PRIVÉ, and then left 300 m further on.

- Cross the peaceful hamlet of Prêtement.

- Climb the path on the right. Pass not far from the SAINT-PRIVÉ castle to come out onto the D236 and find the avenue leading to the starting point.
