Starting downtown, this hike takes you through the Fertrupt annex, an old miners' village founded in the 16th century. Farms and mining remnants are scattered throughout the route. Upon reaching the ridge of the Suscité, take a short break to enjoy the rolling panorama before you.
This walk takes place half in an urban environment. It allows you to appreciate the architecture of old houses mainly dating from the 19th century or the early 20th century.
At no. 5 Cherry Street, there is a master house from 1910. A little further, at no. 7, you will find the former neo-regional style house built around 1900 by Gustave Oberthür, architect of the municipal theater.
