Bicycle path of the Doller and Soultzbach Valley

Want to discover the Doller valley in a different way? Hop on your bike and set off for a beautiful 20-kilometer ride between Burnhaupt-le-Haut and Sewen! This route takes you to the heart of the peaceful and verdant landscapes of the southern Vosges, among meadows, typical villages, and shaded forests.

Most of the journey is on a gentle, pleasant, and relatively easy path, making it ideal for a family outing or with friends. However, it's useful to know a few specifics about the route:

- You will ride on a well-maintained track, perfect for a leisurely stroll.
- From the entrance of Lauw to the entrance of Masevaux-Niederbruck, the bike path runs alongside the road and is only separated by a simple ground marking. Caution is therefore advised, especially in the presence of motor traffic.
- Between the entrance of Masevaux-Niederbruck and the fire station of Masevaux-Niederbruck, the path disappears completely. Cyclists must take the road, which may be less comfortable but is still feasible by adjusting your pace.

Once these small stretches are crossed, you can fully enjoy the fresh air and natural charm of the upper valley, up to the village of Sewen, nestled at the foot of the mountains. Remember to take a few breaks along the way: picnic areas, small heritage sites, and viewpoints over the Doller dotted along this beautiful itinerary in the great outdoors.
