Description by the author

Rocamadour is probably one of the most impressive and beautiful towns in France. At the top of the limestone plateau is a large castle. A winding path leads down from the castle, towards the religious center of the village. You walk through it through the abbey and the main street. From there the route goes straight back to the top. The route is 4.5 km long, but the difference in height cannot be underestimated. The route starts and ends at the Maison de tourisme.
