Challenging at some places and from my point of view the most difficult one is a steep approach via Downe Road to Church Hill/Cudham Lane in Cudham. It begins with an incline, sharp, blind bend to the left immediately followed by sharp and short, right bend with a junction to the righ, hidden from the view. Then is another sharp and very steep, up to 25% and very shrot left bend ending at the cross road. From a inclined stop point on a poor quality surface with loose gravel, you have to turn right into Church Lane.

Other then that, practically when the Elmers End is passed the route is very 'entertaining' going over hilly and winding roads.
