The restaurant Mandella in Sandes is quite popular in high season. It's a bit strange to find a full restaurant in the middle of nowhere, in this mountain village. But there are some very good reasons why this place is so popular. It serves the classical food of Lemnos as the grandmothers of the island were cooking it.
