Englouvi

Eglouvi is an absolute gem. The position is not coincidental either. In the past, villages were rarely built on the coast for reasons of safety. Englouvi is the highest village on Lefkada (730 m). There were also other reasons to have a vilage here. On the agricultural lands at high altitide, some crops can grow well. A lot of wheat was and is grown in the area. But also lentils. By the way, the best lentils in Greece come from this village.
