[Altered route] Wicklow 200 - 2020 edition

This is an altered route based on the Wicklow 200 route from the 2020 edition to avoid the busy roads near Bray and the Blessington Road.

Total distance is approx. 210 km with 3300 metres of elevation to be climbed.

Route starts and finishes at Bray Emmets GAA, same as the organised W200 but can be started from anywhere nearby.

Roads can be smaller from time to time but the entire route should be on paved surfaces. Some areas of the route are very remote and on steep terrain, so make sure to have plenty food and drink and a bicycle in good working order.

Noteable climbs are:

- The Old Long Hill: 2.19 km / 163 m (Cat. 3)

- Wicklow Gap: 6.72 km / 345 m (Cat. 2)

- Slieve Corragh towards Hollywood: 2.93 km / 102 m (Cat. 4)

- Slieve Mann: 3.12 km / 259 m (Cat. 3) with steep decent towards Glenmalure (!)

- Shay Elliot: 2.97 km / 234 m (Cat. 3)

- Glendarragh/Cooladoyle Climb: 5.37 km / 154 m (Cat. 4)
