The Torre Pellice station is the terminus of the Pinerolo-Torre Pellice railway, which served the town of Torre Pellice until 2012, the year traffic on the line was discontinued.
Inaugurated on December 21, 1882, by the Society for the Railways of Upper Italy, along with the entire line, the station experienced the ups and downs of this latter and was entrusted, under the "Baccarini" law of April 27, 1885, to the Society for the Mediterranean Railways, with services operated by the Mediterranean Network; it then passed in 1905 to the newly established State Railways.
