Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Piazza Saverio Friscia.
Every year on November 4, a commemoration is held in Siacca at the monument to those who fell at sea in the municipal villa , and at the monument to the unknown soldier . It commemorates the armistice of Villa Giusti - which came into effect on November 4, 1918 - the date on which the First World War ended.
In honor of the sacrifices of the soldiers who died in defense of the Fatherland on November 4, 1921, the burial of the "Unknown Soldier" took place in the Shrine of the Altare della Patria in Rome , which is also commemorated in the municipalities. On this day, the Italians want to commemorate in a special way all those who, even very young, sacrificed the supreme good of life for an ideal of homeland and a sense of duty: values that have remained unchanged over time, for the soldiers of then and today.
