We did this beautiful walk on 06-05-2023

This is an itinerary that we have put together based on various local routes.

We parked the car in the spacious parking lot of the Pont-Misère and made the loop clockwise. Which, in hindsight, wasn't a bad decision. You get the most beautiful, but also the hottest part at the end.

At the beginning we start in the Süretal at 333 m above sea level and overcome a distance of 3 km at 488 m. Quite a difficult climb through the beautiful valley of a stream. In the meantime, we pass by the Ferme Misère, a classified farm.

The route leads past beautiful views over Bilsdorf through Koetschette and a piece of PC 18. Afterwards we descend into the valley of the Schwärzerbaach. It flows out of the stream for some time and then returns to the mouth of the Schwärzerbaach into the Sauer. From there it continues up and down into the valley of the Sûre. The last piece is quite difficult to call. There is a small ladder that the dog cannot climb. We had to carry our prince on it. On the shelter hangs a photo with a warning and a possible detour route. We moved on. We had already done this part the other way around.
