Former running car Eschweiler

The course of this promenade was cleaned on 11.07.2022. The track is like the Auto-pédestre in the past. I don't know if all the paths are still accessible. The new PA is only 7 km away and can be downloaded here.

Parking spaces and exits are at the church in Eschweiler. It is a beautiful walk that takes place mostly on paved and car-free roads. We first descend into the valley of the 'Burebaach', then we climb to a plateau from where we have a beautiful view of 'Wiltz'. We follow the valley of the 'Himmelbaach', which flows into the 'Wiltz', to the mouth of the 'Kirelbaach', which we follow in the direction of 'Eschweiler'. From the 'Cafe Halt' we unfortunately have to follow the connecting road Cr328 for a while, but once at the top we are rewarded with a great view. Take a moment to visit the church of Eschweiler, the beautiful stained glass windows and beautiful murals will surely charm the art lover.
