The trail is very well marked with a blue flag featuring a white wave in it, and the paths, especially in the Luxembourg part, are well maintained.
In my opinion, the trail and the path are not suitable for a beginner hiker. Also, your equipment, especially your shoes, should be suited to the terrain and weather conditions.
During our hike of the entire trail, we were unable to make use of the available campsites because they were still closed at the beginning of March. So we had to (unavoidably) camp out.
Vistas, waterways, and nature around you. Take your time and enjoy it.
