WWu Pisten Route Luxembourg

Cycle path with four "difficult" trails in Luxembourg. You start in Stolzenburg, where you ride directly to the Putscheid Pass. Then come three more serious trails. In between, it is of course not always flat, but (quickly) descending!

The tracks:
- Stolzembourg Putscheid Pass: 2.2 km long with 272 meters of elevation. The average gradient of the ascent is 12%. The maximum gradient is 17%.
- Bourscheider Küste from Bourschenter Millen: 3.51 km long with 260 meters of elevation. The average gradient of the ascent is 7.4%. The maximum gradient is 11%.
- Kohn Path from Welscheid: 1.49 km long with 194 meters of elevation. The average gradient of the ascent is 13%.
- Mont Saint Nicolas from Vianden: 2.8 km long with 286 meters of elevation. The average gradient of the ascent is 10%.

After the first three tracks, you cycle from Ettelbrück along the Sauer to Diekirch for a bit. You leave the cycle path next to the Sauer in Bleesbreck, where you pedal onto a busier road. You turn onto Longsdorfer Straße, a climb that starts gently. The continuation from Longsdorf to Föhren and so on is more difficult but more beautiful. You can shorten this last part by descending directly from Föhren to Bettel. From here, you get onto a relatively flat route to Vianden.

You finally finish with the ascent and the nice descent of Mont Saint Nicolas from Vianden.

Overall, you cover 75 km with many meters of elevation to conquer. You can easily integrate one or more shortcuts.
