The Sint-Blasiuskerk in the Overijssel town of Beckum was built in the years 1936/1938 for the Roman Catholic Blasius parish of Beckum and surroundings.
The Blasius parish in Beckum has existed since 1854. The current church was built in the years 1936-1938 to a design by the architect Johannes Sluijmer, who had previously also designed the Sint-Marcellinuskerk in nearby Boekelo. Construction began in October 1936. The church was consecrated on June 5, 1938. The three-aisled church replaced an older church that stood on this site. The presbytery on the right side of the church was built a few years later - in 1943 - in the same traditionalist style.
