White in the sun: Thorn. This little town looks like a movie set that has accidentally been left standing. White facades, cobblestones, geraniums in window sills. We navigate past a full terrace (at the pancake shop, of course) and take a moment to glance at the ancient Abbey Church. For a drink, we find it just a bit too early – we keep up the pace and cycle on.
