In 1925, architect Nicolaas Molenaar Jr. designed a three-aisled church building in traditionalist style. It was his first independent assignment. On the southwest corner is a large bell tower. On July 16, 1926, the building was inaugurated by the parish of The Four Evangelists. The official consecration by Bishop Callier took place on December 7 of that year.
