Nature diorama Holterberg, located on the Holterberg (in NP the Sallandse Heuvelrug) has more than 1000 European birds and mammals. 12 Life-size dioramas where it seems as if you are in the middle of nature. The museum is wheelchair accessible, has a disabled toilet, gift shop and an Information bali where walking and cycling routes (and descriptions) of the routes can be obtained and information about NP de Sallandse Heuvelrug and its surroundings. Outside, 'Nature Experience' tours can be made in the forest of Daantje Das.

1 April - 1 November: open every day
* Mon to Sat from 10:00 – 17:00
* Sun from 11:00 – 17:00

1 November - 1 April:
* Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 - 17:00
* Open every day during Christmas and spring holidays
