The Hague or 's‑Gravenhage [ˌsxraːvəˈɦaːɣə] ) is a city and municipality of the Netherlands, situated on the west coast facing the North Sea. It is the administrative and royal capital of the Netherlands and its seat of government, as well as the capital of the province of South Holland. It hosts the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court. It has been described as the de facto capital of the Netherlands.
