Gemert-Bakel

All the extras and people in this film are residents of Gemert-Bakel. This was a conscious choice to showcase the purity and pride of the Gemert-Bakel people. The film starts at the VVV office at the Ridderplein in Gemert. The two ladies can see what activities are available and where they can stay overnight in one of the many accommodations. They set off and watch the promotional film of Gemert-Bakel at the water pump. The film begins where the villages of Gemert and Bakel meet. A piece of land with a beautiful green environment. Here, the many walking and cycling paths come to the fore, where everyone can enjoy the intimate peace and breathtaking beauty. Then there are images of the centuries-old history of Gemert-Bakel that invite visitors to the castle, the historic parade, and the Boerenbond museum. The film then shows that Gemert-Bakel is also a place where people let others enjoy.
