The Betuweroute or 'Betuwelijn' is the Rotterdam - Zevenaar railway line. The line is a 158.5 km long freight railway line from the Maasvlakte near Rotterdam to the border with Germany, a few kilometres beyond Zevenaar. The route is bundled with the reconstructed A15 motorway for more than three quarters of its total length.
