On all our ships, it is possible to take bicycles, mopeds, or (motor)scooters with you during the crossing. This is subject to capacity: it varies per ship how many can be taken along. You may have to wait for the next ship during busy times.

Due to the frequent flooding of the island before the construction of the Afsluitdijk, the land was very fertile, allowing people to live off the land.
