The Padevoort is a havezate in Zeddam/Vinkwijk. The estate is already mentioned in the 13th century and since the 16th century there has been a family of Van de Padevoort. In 1666 it was converted into a hunting lodge for Huis Bergh. In 1875 it was sold to the R.K. Church and converted into a monastery. A sister order - Franciscan Sisters of Heythuizen - established a girls' school there, later the building became a center for district nursing. In 1972 the Padevoort was purchased and restored by a private individual. It cannot be visited internally.
