Orvelte is one of the most beautiful villages in the Netherlands. Orvelte is a centuries-old esdorp that originated in the 10th century. The monumental farms and the streets, with cobblestones and old cobblestones, give the village a unique atmosphere.
Orvelte presents itself as a museum village because of the many historical sights in and around the village.
