Description

Orvelte is one of the most beautiful villages in the Netherlands. Orvelte is a centuries-old esdorp that originated in the 10th century. The monumental farms and the streets, with cobblestones and old cobblestones, give the village a unique atmosphere.

Orvelte presents itself as a museum village because of the many historical sights in and around the village. In addition to the "normal" daily activity and residential function of the village, a large number of farms and other buildings have been set up for the public. Cars are not allowed in Orvelte, but you can take a tour in a real horse-drawn tram.
