Winsum is a village in the municipality of Het Hogeland in the province of Groningen. Winsum was the main town of the eponymous municipality of Winsum. In 2021, the village had 7,405 inhabitants. On August 17, 2020, Winsum was declared the "most beautiful village in the Netherlands" by a jury from the ANWB after an online election.
