Varssel is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. Varssel is known for the motorcycle road races, which are organized every year in May on the Varsselring (a street circuit).
A striking point is the remains of the Varssel mill, a former top crawler. The mill was already developed in 1915. In the storm disaster of 1925, the roof of the mill flew.
In Varssel there is also a golf course of the Zelle estate. Due to the declining income from arable farming in the last decades of the 20th century, part of the agricultural land of house 't Zelle was used for this golf course. Holiday homes were also built on this estate.
