De Alerdinck is a havezate in Laag Zuthem, a village near Heino in the Overijssel municipality of Raalte. The name was first mentioned around 1500 and probably comes from two farmyards: the Groot Alerdinck and the Klein Alerdinck.
The name Alerdinck was first mentioned in an estimate register from 1427. One hundred years later, the first name was as a farm; both Groot and Klein Alerdinck were owned by Jacob Rouse from Deventer. In 1648 recognition was made havezate, in 1654 the house was declared knightly. In 1797, Den Alerdinck was sold by the heirs of Derk F. van Voorst tot Bergentheim to Bernardus J. van Sonsbeeck, a markerichter of the marches Lenthe and Dalmsholte who was active as a politician.
